Looking for signs of spring

bf garienos says that he budgets to take me to one snowdrop visit a year. These I got for free (they are in Holt churchyard)

These are in the churchyard too

These were in a florists and I liked how they make a round shape in their container.

We had lunch at Blickling and they have witch hazels in their dell behind the orangery. The red ones were all fully out because they are usually the earliest. I should catch up with some yellow ones nearer home.

Thought puddleshark might be amused by this. The pub outside Blickling doesn't let you park your car but apparently riders can park their horses.

Seems the egrets have got this far inland too. This one was minding its own business and didn't like being photographed.

Many thanks for your beautiful spring flowers! Especially the first photo is very attractive but I love yellow colour and so I love them all.
Sadly, lots of herons died here, frozen, because we had those severe frosts that changed all the free water in ice and the water birds in the wild perished from hunger and cold...Water is still frozen everywhere, even at those places that are normally free. Now there is some fast thawing, another extreme change, but in two days the big freezing will be back. No trace of grass, let alone flowers, only patches of melted snow here and there but snows still covers everything.
That´s why I was so pleased to see your pics.

Lovely shots! I tried to photograph winter aconites at Kingston Lacy but the rain had battered them and they were a bit sad-looking.

And yes, I highly approve of the pub's parking arrangements!
